I don’t know if you remember, but before we went to England we released “I Don’t Want To Party (Party)” as a single. And we asked YOU to make a film clip for it. Well, we’ve watched all the clips that you made over and over and over (especially on the flight home!) and we’ve decided which one is our favourite.
So big ups to James Cobb from Brisbane, who is the mastermind behind this work of genius:
For winning the competition, we’re going to be playing at James’ house party this Friday night. So if you’re friends with him, I’d be hitting him up RIGHT NOW for an invite! We’ll take heaps of photos and some video footage too (hopefully!) so you won’t miss out on the action.
There were some other great entries as well. This first one by Lachlan and Denham Sadler was simple, but so brilliant:
I’m not sure if the next one breaches any kind of copyright laws, but if it does, Etienne seems to be a smooth enough talker to get out of it:
This last one obviously took a LOT of time and effort. More than we thought anyone would go to for the competition:
So did we make the right decision? Leave a comment and let us know which one you thought should have won. Or let us know that you agreed with us too. We’re cool with that as well. And just in case you haven’t seen the “official” clip, here it is as well:

my favourite was the one with words written in chalk all over sydney… then again i am a little bias
that chalk one is awesome!
The chalk one topped the list for me too, but the house party one was pretty good
Yep, the Philly Jays have made the right choice – the clip that James submitted is in line with the lyrics; the scripting and acting has been done with much thought. Well done James, and I hope you and your friends enjoyed the performance by The Philly Jays at your house party!
probably the potentially legal troublesome one was ze pick. twas innerestin that 3 of the 4 spelt out all the words of the song when basically no professional videos do that. don’t know what that means on an existential level though, just observations.
